Hi there! My name is Axel Garces and I am an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves nothing more than spending time in nature. When I'm not exploring the great outdoors, you can find me snowboarding in the winter or playing soccer in the summer. In addition to my love for physical activity, I also have a passion for programming and staying up to date on the latest technological advancements. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges, and I believe that there is always more to discover and learn. Star Laser Guide - Embedded App

We worked closely with a client to develop a project that could be used in schools. Our team, which included computer scientists, designed and implemented a system that allows users to point at a constellation in the sky and receive information about it. To ensure the project's success, we enlisted the help of mechanical engineering students from Colorado Mesa University and partnered with a 3D printing organization to create a sophisticated and efficient design.

Colorado Mesa University Application

Collaborated with Colorado Mesa University school staff and advisors to redesign the application using Figma, and created a prototype in Xcode using Swift.

Geo Location App

I am currently engaged in the development of an iOS application utilizing the Swift programming language and SQLite database. The app utilizes the Apple Maps API to display nearby objects and determines the optimal route to them. The app will also utilize the SQLite database to store and retrieve objects based on their location for seamless and efficient data management.
